Just remember the factory used very strong locktight on top of the OEM MAG drive shocks. You will have to use a small soldering torch to heat the top of the shock tower where the nut is to loosen the locktight.

Thanks for all the responses. Once she goes up for the winter I will pull the tensioner and try to rebuild. It the pulley wheel bearing that is failing. Fortunetly my good friend is one of only two certified XLR mechanics in West Virginia so I may have a fighting chance to get the bearing...

Better late than never....really simple fix...just look online for corvette c6 mag-ride delete inserts. Take the plug from the top of the stack magshock and this unit plugs into that...have them on my XLRV as I installed coilovers three years ago...no issues...the deleted are about $200 I think.

I think your right...cannot see stitching on this on. and my pad is black stitching....but it will fit anyways...good luck. Ill keep a look out for ya!!

Its the cushion and the seat cover goes over it. The cover has the different colors not the cushion. Hope this helps.
