New 07' XLR-V owner from Europe

Hello,
I just purchased an XLR-V. I think it was a last call as those cars are becoming ridiculously expensive. It'll be one of a few XLR-Vs in whole Europe. The XLR-V has never been offered here officially. For a short period of time we even had a Cadillac dealer in Warsaw that sold regular XLRs but everything GM have ever done in Europe was a quarter-ass attempt so I don't even want to talk about it, I just want to enjoy my car. I hope I'll find needed parts here. I am nostalgic for internet forum boards, I am sure people here are more serious than those on Facebook groups

Nice find! I rescued my 2005 from a salvage yard as well. Headlight looks good... that would be the only expensive part.

The headlight seems to be cracked in the corner. Regarding salvage yard, I would probably never buy this kind of car if I lived in US. But importing vehicles to Europe means up to 60% penalty (taxes, import duties etc) That’s why most of American (and many premium European cars) in Europe come from American salvage yards. I do hope I’ll find some enthusiasts here who will help me with parts. Too early to say what is needed. There’s a passenger side speaker cover missing in pictures. But it might be somewhere in the car. Also I regret the car has a black interior, I wish I could get a beige interior bits to change it but I don’t see them available on eBay. Not many interior parts in general.

In my opinion, black cars should have black interiors.. Plus, black parts should be more common (cross-over from other vehicles)

I've seen the headlight washer cover somewhere... maybe on eBay. I've definitely seen the seat speaker covers on eBay.

I saw that headlight cover and thought there was a mistake in price . There’s one speaker cover on eBay and the headlight washer You mentioned is probably the one from Amazon sb. posted on one of the FB groups.
