I suggest keeping a spare fob battery in your car as you get no "fob battery low" warning. They are cheap on ebay.

I've heard this before. You have to reprogram the windows. Search the discussions somewhere on this site or look in your manual for the procedure. I don't remember how to do it.

The all electric caddy is already here. The TV adds make it look pretty sharp.

I've tried programming a fob using that 5 quick turns of the key in the back bumper process. Didn't work for me. I was warned that after the third try the key will become nonfunctional. I am not sure this is true, but I ended up taking the new fob to the dealer after my second try.

Gus, I purchased a wind screen like the one advertised. The outfit that makes them can etch XLR, Cadillac w/logo, and LED lighting if you want it. Let me know if you are interested and I'll look back at where I purchased it.

Ouch, that story even hurts me. Rexster 314, you're a better man than me. While I love my XLR, I would have given up.

The heads up display should not be effected by light tint, but I suggest placing some tinted, thin plastic where the display shows first to check.
