Thanks JB, I had my trans fluid replaced (not filter) and diff lube earlier this week at a caddy/chevy dealer. I met the service rep at the parts window to be sure the part num they would put in the diff was that of the most recent SB I saw. It was. So I hope I am good now.

No worries. I am not defending the owners manual, just sharing what it says for the 2006 model year. Variations on these instructions might work, but this is what Caddy specifically says to do. I don't see any other instances of instructions on how to do this elsewhere in the manual.

If someone can, please share the model tire when speaking brands. For my V, I cant see Bridgestone making any model tire that OEM front and rear sizes needed are available. Are folks putting the rear size on all four corners? I see the same across many tire manufacturers.
