Hi John,
of course you can go original - but first: Rockauto sells ACDelco, not direct GM
and in this case they are not the same.
Maybe as you read before: The Mag Shocks are really noisy, even when almost new and after 3-4 years the whole procedure has to be done again.
Especially in cars...
Thanks a lot, sounds good to me.
Does anyone know the original GM part no?
Curious: When I searched for these at GMPARTSGIANT etc. I couldn't even see them in the diagrams...
Which spring adjuster bolts should I use when I don't want to lower the car?
I want to stay at this riding hide and can't finde the correct part number or aftermarket...
Thanks,
Sammy
Did it. Thanks everybody.
The menu navigation is sometimes unreproducible, but ok.
I just managed it and only relearned the closed position - everything working fine.
Regarding the counts: I only saw one counter saying 95.
Thinking of buy one myself, is is a good choice to take the Chinese...
Thanks for advice.
In my shop manual it says before relearning with the Tech2 there is a manual alignment procedure which looks a little messy.
Do you perform this everytime before relearning?
Although I tried to read every thread and the GM shop manual I bought some months ago, I'm still confused.
Couldn't find the right answer for my problem here in the older discussions:
The roof of my XLR opens when the button is pushed, every sequence is fine until it comes to lower the trunk...
Hi everybody.
I got some paint dents on my XLR I wanted to fix the next weeks before summer comes.
(maybe stick or with my airbrush machine)
Because I had bad experiences getting the fitting color shade by paint manufactoring companies for my DeVille here in Germany
I would like to know what...
i ask him the same thing and his response from the cadillac tech was that he dosent know but for experience he have remove old oil from other cars low mileage and those cars returned with more problems.but they will gladly do the filter change for 349 and a flush for 199 but they are not...
??? That's a disagreement for itself - you should not change it when it is too young and you should not change it when it is too old?
Mine was 14 years and 37K and I can tell you there was not little abrasive wear inside at the collectors magnet.
So it was a good idea to do a change.
The...
Yes, it's easy.
The manual says a tool is needed to put it in place, but it "snaps in" normally
when putting the filter on.
Other experience I had:
The 04 and 05 XLRs don't like the Dexron VI, there was a whining all the time as soon
as I started the engine. Maybe that's the reason GM...
Thanks, I will try the Corvette forums.
But one question is left and it's Cadillac specific, cause the control modul is Cadillac, not Corvette:
Is there an option to reset transmission fluid indicator or even the whole transmission?
Oil reset
That's the question. Some stores still sell Dex III H from ACDelco, but it was officially replaced by VI.
Many Cadillacs have a reset option when filling new oil into the transmission,
but I couldn't find it in the shop manual for my XLR.
Does it have one and can somebody help...
