Just pulled out my 2005 XLR from winter storage. Trunk won’t open using the FOB button, dash button or the button on the trunk. I can hear the latch button mechanism working. I can lift the trunk manually. Negotiate sure what fuse to check. Can’t hear a relay “click” when I press the FOB trunk...

Hello Vetter, I took the light socket out. Punched the lens out with a screwdriver. My lenses were burnt and cracked. It was easy to pop them out.

Hello PLH, I don’t know how to send pictures. My XLR looks the same as kurtzr. Makes the car look much better than the burnt lense.

Had the headlight assembly removed. Took the drl lens out. Replaced all the lights with LEDs Looks good. Happy camper now!

I feel I got very lucky to find that the roof skin was coming loose. I’d be very interested if GM is going to have a recall. The stinking DRL’s are another big issue. Still love driving the car!

I have a 2005 with 110k on it. Drive only nice summer/ fall days. When I first got the car (3 years ago) I would hear the wind coming in from the top seal. Took it to a body shop, sealed the roof back together. Runs fine.

Sorry to hear. Still looking for both headlight assemblies(driver/passenger). I don’t want to take the bumper off twice. If new ones come up, leave a note.Thanks, Bob T

Tire pressure monitor Just odd when I put in the new car battery that both tires read zero.

2005 XLR battery died. Replaced battery and now the front left and rear left air pressure read zero. Right side reads fine. Any ideas?
