I added the Corsa to my '05 and it is AWESOME!! Great sound - no drone on highways. I liked it so much, I added a Corsa exhaust to my '07 SRX (w/ V8). :cool: You won't regret getting a Corsa exhaust. Some members have had luck finding a V exhaust and adding it to their base with success too...

Amy - I have had many Cadillacs over the years and unfortunately, most of what you read on the Northstar engine is the oil leak problem. My '94 Concours had a leak at 60K, my 2000 DTX had a leak at 90K (still under warranty, dealer replaced all piston rings and pistons)... no more leaks until...

My Corsa exhaust is my favorite upgrade! Powdercoated calipers is next... My top two. :wave:

So you and Amy have a little "car show" in your driveway all the time, huh? VERY COOL! If I ever get to upgrading to a V, I hope to sell Devin my Base XLR... knowing Devin probably isn't moving out of the house anytime soon - maybe I'll have two XLR's in my garage too. :laugh:

Steve, I cannot find anything in the XLR Owners Manual that indicates this feature you describe. If yours does this, could it be an "aftermarket" feature installed? Just curious.

I picked up a 2007 White Diamond SRX in the early October... looks just like your's, George - except mine has the 20" wheels. Did you get the Northstar in yours, George? Mine has the Northstar. Its filthy right now, but when I get it cleaned up, I will take some pictures and post. :wave:

I'm not sure if other years differ or not - but I believe most Cadillacs ONLY lower the passenger mirror. I have 3 Cadillacs and a GMC Denali - all with "curb assist" and only the SRX actually has the option to lower BOTH mirrors - the others only lower the Right mirror (Denali, DTX and XLR).

Hmm, a red one, a white one... And there are at least a couple of blue ones not more than a few hours from Chicago (actually one IN Chicagoland). How cool would it be to have a red, white & blue XLR exhibit at next year's show? :cool:

Thanks, Dave... It was a really great show - a lot of awesome muscle cars and Corvettes. My location was very nice, right next to MAM's display. It was a bit boring because I did not have Devin to hang around with (he was working in the CarArtWorks booth)... but I had plenty of people to talk...

You know, that could be the case - when they extended the range for the REMOTE START in the '08 and beyond, they may have taken away the ability to close the rear hatch from the remote fob. :dunno:

I just bought an '07 SRX this fall - my key fob opens AND closes the rear hatch... maybe they updated it later? :dunno:

I bought my '05 about 3 1/2 years ago with 130K - it now has almost 180K on it... I couldn't imagine NOT having an XLR. As a matter of fact, my XLR is at the dealer today - running rough, loss of power; especially at acceleration. I had a bank of COILS replaced over the summer (same symptons)...
