Thanks for the update, Cindy. Hang in there Rod - keep that positive attitude and you will be out of there before you know it. Continuing to send you thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery, Rod!
Welcome, Misty! You will absolutely LOVE your XLR and this forum. Don't be shy - no question is too small. The more involved you get here, the more fun you will have with your XLR and us other forum members. The great thing about this forum is that we are ALL here with one common love - our...
WELCOME to the XLR Owners club! ... I can't say enough on how wonderful this group is. I've met some wonderful friends here. As I have said before - little did I know that when I purchased my used Cadillac XLR, did I know I was getting an awesome group of friends with it. Hope to see you at...
Replacing the center dash piece is not enough - the '06-'09 have a different HVAC control box (edges are more rounded than on the '04/'05 models). I believe Rich (Homegameroom) did this modification - maybe he could chime in (or maybe PM him).
I personally, would love to see this happen. Unfortunately I have been so busy at work (and this will continue probably all year); that I cannot be too involved in the "planning" of such an event - I understand how much time other members have dedicated to pulling off past XLR events. But I...
The back of my seat has always bulged a bit (I feel it - I'm 6'2" and have the seat pretty far back)... I think it is normal. BTW, how many miles on your '07?
Welcome, Hollywood ... you will truly enjoy you car and this site. I sure hope you can venture down here to the states for some get togethers; with all of the events that my son and I have enjoyed, I have yet to see a Passion red one (only seen pictures). If you think you get the looks in your...
WOW! - Just when I thought I've seen Bruce and Kathy's BEST photography .... then THESE show up. Awesome pictures, guys! While being in Sebring would probably be the BEST way to see the race, seeing these pictures sure make me feel like I were there. Thank you for sharing your tremendous...
Rod,
I cannot tell you exciting it is to hear the great progress you are making on your recovery. Prayers and positive thoughts go a long way in helping you through your recovery - but its YOUR positive attitude and determination that is probably the most powerful of healing. Keep up the good...
I have to agree with these two guys... My Corsa exhaust is my favorite upgrade (even have them on my SRX V8), no drone on the highway, only hear the exhaust when you step on it... And when you step on it; you here 'em! You'll love the Corsa, Dave!
Dave - My Corsa exhaust is also my favorite upgrade to my XLR. I love it so much, I installed them on my SRX (I like hearing the sound in the winter too) :chuckle
Go ahead, pull the trigger... worth every penny. :)
Hmmm, isn't it interesting how a couple of us have gone with white on our latest Cadillacs? I never would have thought i wouldn't buy a black Cadillac... I never would have thought Marc wouldn't buy a blue one. :chuckle Can't wait to see it, Marc.
I agree with Marc that I prefer to have the windows down whenever the top is down ... but I think it is just a personal choice (like Navy or Army, white or blue :chuckle). About the only time I put the windows up when the top is down is when I get a phone call - too much wind noise with my...
