First thing I would check is the battery. Be sure it's fully charged, these cars do very strange things when a battery needs a charge or replacement.

As of today, after a bit of searching, I am again back in an XLR-V!!! I found a very near perfect '08 at a local Mercedes dealer. So, my "V" smile is back again!!! :blinzel:

That's about all you have to do, don't be surprised if there isn't much of a difference from the previous version. It's ALL about $$$$!!!!

Unfortunately, Northstar engines are known leakers, my XLR & XLR-V both leaked, pretty major repair on each of them. They had to drop the complete front suspension (not a pretty sight!) to be able to access the leak area. Lotsa luck with yours. Only consolation was neither leaked again. Oh...

That's good info for almost everyone as most gas caps have that plastic piece--I'll have to check closely before I slam the door shut.

Well, if the closing was so well known, as it takes place every year at that time, it would surely make me to be sure to black out those weeks for anything like "The Homecoming." Am I missing something??? :dunno:
