    Leaking Radiator at 65,000 Miles

I might, and it's still a might, use that in my Camry, but not my Cadi. I still appreciate the idea. So, here's an update. Just got a call from my mechanic, and even though we ordered the radiator off my VIN number , it was the wrong one. Now I'm going to mess this next part up, but I'm going...

    Leaking Radiator at 65,000 Miles

I gratefully own a 2006 Cadillac XLR V. It's not mint, but is in excellent condition and is well taken care of. But it is over 10 years old now and I expect I'll have to start fixing things that just wear out with time. One of those things just came up. The radiator. It's leaking and the...

    Engine hot - A/C off

Thanks for the advice, especially concerning the dealership potentially falsely diagnosing the problem as a sensor for a financial gain. As long as there is no harm to the engine. I'm not tripp'n on an occasional alert. I will still of course double check everything if I see this message. Love...

    Engine hot - A/C off

Hey man, so glad you posted your experience with the engine hot - ac off DIC alert. THE EXACT SAME THING JUST HAPPENED TO ME. Detail for detail down to the 10 minutes after restarting the car after the first ocurance and the warning disappearing AND the temp gauge working again... Anyway, had to...

    new owner

Well, this has inspired me to head to the store and pick up some CR2032 replacement batteries for my 2 keyfobs. Hopefully some preventive measures like this will make that less likely to happen. I Replaced the current ones right now, which I assume haven't been replaced since 2006...! And I...

    new owner

I am glad the question was asked and an answer was provided. I am one of those that only reaches for the instruction manual IF I can't figure it out. I know. Not the best method. I know one thing for sure. On my way to work this morning I'm going to identify that emergency door release handle...

    Engine codes

I had the same "check engine" icon which ended up being a bad knock sensor. If I recall correctly, the code # was p0330. Please post if that is what triggered yours too. I'm just wondering if that's a common reason for the check engine icon to come on... Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk

Important! ATTENTION ALL! XLR CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT HAS BEEN CANCELLED

That all makes sense, ccclarke. Thanks for taking the time to share your insight on the 3D Printing and explain why this would not be a feasible option. So... GM filed bankruptcy in 2009 and therefore can't be held legally accountable to xlr owners in need of parts for their vehicles not even...

Important! ATTENTION ALL! XLR CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT HAS BEEN CANCELLED

Which parts in particular would you, or any and all other xlr and v owners, recommend getting "3D copied"? I figure it would be best to do this BEFORE the part is damaged... Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
