High Idle Bill, you will notice, that if you are using the manual shift, the trans clutch will remain engaged. Says in writeups I have read that is done so it will "approximate" a manual transmission. In what mode are you running when you do this???

HIGH IDLE Nope, took the car out this morning, if I kick it into neutral at say 15 mph, the engine returns directly to 800 rpm. it does not hang higher for any apreciable length of time. Seems you do have a problem. Still under warrantee?? Rusty

Hi idle My Corvette ZR-1 does the same thing. I am told on that forum, that it is done that way, and quite normal. I think it is done to alow the engine to rev more quickly after trailing throttle. The computer keeps the Idle Air Control stepping relay at that positioin until the car stops.It...

Has anyone heard of swapping in a 6 speed manual transmission on our V cars, to replace our automatic?? Since the transaxle is corvette, seems it would not be a monumental undertaking, considering the restomods you see around.

I recently had the car washed. I sat with the key fob in my pocket. I sat about 20 yards from the car. I noticed the workers, having no difficulty opening the doors. My question is, what is the range of the key fob? Range with respect to ebabling the entrance and start functions. Thanks, Rusty
