    Help! Electric issues

Ahhh. . . Water intrusion is the clue I was looking for. This would explain the intermittent nature of the problem. Since you had the windshield replaced, I would be highly suspect that water may have run down the passenger side A pillar and affected the BCM beneath. The BCM is the heart of...

    Help! Electric issues

As for frequency, you mentioned it happens randomly, when you're driving, then later stated it happened once. Which is it? Do you store it in a garage? As a general rule, dealerships don't randomly remove/replace modules unless they are flagged during diagnostic testing. If they ran a full...

A little more info would make it easier to understand your problem. 1. When do the messages appear? (Under what conditions, normal driving, on start-up, extended driving, after extended parking?) 2. Exactly which messages are displayed? 3. How old is the battery? 4. How long have you owned the...

Love my toy but ready to pull my hair out

I was surprised when you reported the fuel delivery problem was fixed by the installation of a new battery. I was not surprised when you reported the problem returned - if it's indeed the same problem. 1. Are you using a Battery Tender to keep the battery charged when the car sits idle for...

    Help! Seat HVAC

Please don't thread-jack this thread. You should start a new thread, (There's a button for this.) and post your (unrelated) questions there under the appropriate title so it's easier for someone to find later. Otherwise the answer gets buried in another thread and any searches for information...

    Help! Seat HVAC

Your original post was over a year ago, when you thought there was an easy fix involved for a problem that was never adequately described. Defining the symptoms of your problem, the parts needed, and seat side(s) you wish to replace them on would make it easier to help you. Asking for part...

Help! CANNOT PLAN A ROUTE ON GPS..

If the software operated correctly before, and after resetting the system, isn't controlling the hardware properly now, that points to a hardware issue. Since there isn't a Route Guidance software troubleshooting tree, the malfunction will likely be treated as a hardware problem and a dealer...

Ahhh. . . That explains why I couldn't locate it: The second part number is different. 89047699 is for a Brake Pedal Position Sensor. Yours may have been stuck to the ON position. If the cruise control thinks the brake is applied, it disables.
