Just a thought here. But have you every changed out your battery in the key FOB? Maybe enough juice to start car but not operate the door receiver to unlock. Might be worth a try.

You have to "pop" out the little square cover to get to the key slot. The slot to "learn" a new fob is in the glove box.

The rear hangers on the H-pipes on the V's are different from the rear hangers on the XLR H-pipes.

How'd you do that? The rear hanger on the H-pipe is different for the V's from the XLR's. Did you change out that hanger?

Get yourself a battery tender!!! And use it. These cars cannot sit for 3-4 weeks (isn't that what you posted?) without recharging the battery. And if you start it and only run it for 30-40 seconds only, AND run the top up / down with engine running,,,, you more than likely ran that battery...
