I didn't change the thermostat, but a trip to Jessie's will sure change the personality of your XLR!

Thanks for helping to get us included Bruce. Was disappointed that we may have not have had the opportunity for the plant tour this time, but you made my day!

Need to add a new forum for the XTS and ATS!

A caddi with a V6, well not for me! Might as well as buy a Chevy.

    Rough ride

Has it always been that way or did it just get rougher? My V rides a lot smoother than my 1/2 ton Silverado. I have to replace the mag ride shocks on the front of my STS and Rock Auto has the best price. Might be worth checking them out.

Site Update: T/C going off for no reason (found one reason)

Without power the solenoid valve leaves the exhaust butterfly valves open. I believe it is vacuum to close the exhaust. The switch just kills power to the solenoid. By the way my exhaust valves would never open regardless of engine RPM. I even purchased another GMPP exhaust control board and it...

Site Update: T/C going off for no reason (found one reason)

I have a switch in series with the brown wire coming out of the module. That is the wire that actually controls the vacuum solenoid that opens the bypass valve and have never had a problem with the T/C light. The red wire powers the exhaust module and cutting the power to it may be causing a...

2013 XLR Bowling Green Plant Homecoming - Sept 28th, 2013

I think Bruce was arranging a tour of the National Corvette Museum for Friday morning, a plant tour would be something different. I'm not sure if that is in the plans.

    XLR Noise from dash/radio area

I'll second that, this is not the Cadillac technical support line at GM! It's XLR owners helping XLR owners and some of us have jobs in between that and everything else in our lives! Oh, and in response to your question, mine doesn't make that noise so I can't help you, I would suggest you...

    Auto door unlock

These cars will spoil and annoy you at the same time. Mine has to be in Park for the passenger door to unlock, makes sense. I bought a Jeep a few months ago and have left the lights on twice and completely run the battery down. First vehicle I have had that doesn't turn the lights off...

    Top round 2: it's covered

My pump was replaced at 30,584 miles when the XLR was two years old. Along with virtually every electronic and hydraulic component in the top proceeding that. Then a couple of hydraulic hoses at 49,418 and it's worked fine since. I'm out of warranty now. Makes me think I am crazy to plan on...

    butterfly valve

Actually you can unplug either plug on that module to open the exhaust up. I just cut the brown wire (the only one going to the black plug) and put a switch in series with it and mounted the switch in the console so I can turn it off or on when I want, but if you don't mind the noise you can...
