Replaced those also.....all hydraulics have been replaced except the rear top cylinders located at the very back of the trunk.

I have installed a new hydraulic pump and 2 hydraulic cylinders at a cost of about $2200.00 thus far, and my trunk will still periodically open about 3"-4" and then shut. The only thing that has not been replaced is the "trunk position sensor", and that will cost another $500.00 to replace...

Have your battery checked, i also experienced the same issue and it was due to low voltage. Our cars do funny and weird things when the battery voltage is low. :cool:

I recently had the same issue, purchased a new pump from www.gmpartsdirect.com for $1056. 00 and had the dealer do the install at cost of $150.00 for labor.

I agree, search around a bit best price I could find was $68.92 each plus $12.00 S/H. I have been dealing with it for a few months and just wanted to get it taken care of.

It was indeed one of the lift support struts, had both replaced at a cost of $253.00.....:pat: The struts were $92.00 each.....wow.
