Wow
Awesome wheels, some details please, size, company. Look great, and yes I agree the garage is impressive too. I don't even have room to take a picture when my cars in mine :chuckle
Me too, no message
I tried it as well last night on my 05. No message in the DIC, just the feeble little tone. Hear it about 30% of the time, that gives me 70% of the time watching the technology work to ensure it's already down or up. Guess it's back to tracing wiring and hooking up the fog...
Thanks to all
Well at least it's not just me and I don't ned the old hearing checked yet. Seems like GM put a lot of effort into the tech design, but forgot that a Luxury sports car should also have good ergonomics. Oh well, I still love the car. I'll continue to hold the button and look back...
May be a stupid question...
Is there any way to increase the volume of the chime, or increase the number of chimes? At times I can barely hear it, especially if the radio is on, or its a noisy area when I put the top down.
Another benefit
I have the acrylic type and though it stopped a little turbulance, the main effect and reduction is noise was from raising the side windows. I do enjoy the look so given that plus a minor benefit I thoroughly enjoy having it installed. Yesterday, driving down I95 from Delaware...
Thanks for quick reply
Thanks, I usually just use one of three playlists and shuffle. If that's manageable with the Lockpick, it would work for me. I'm not going be searching for things while on the road anyway, too many crazy drivers to watch out for in Northern Virginia.
Anybody tried other interfaces
I've seen comments about having the Lockpick and that it works with "limitations". Has anybody tried the others. I'm leaning towards getting the Soundgate and trying it, but thought I would check here first. They all sound good on paper, but its seems everyone...
Does it knock put cruise control completely?
I understand the concept of the lower full mesh screen blocking sensors for the "adaptive" cruise control. But does that disable it completely, or just the part that senses a car ahead and start the braking process? I would guess the sensors would...
Thanks to Everyone
Guess that's settled, time to shop around. Thanks to everyone for their input. This site is great, appreciate you all. Not to mention your great taste in cars
Another Intake Question
Been checking intakes out, and some sites say the Volant does not have an air box. Not sure about the others, but this seems to defeat the "cold" air feature given the heat our engines generate. May be more airflow. Am I right or are the filters enclosed?
Misunderstanding
Sorry, it is attached to the car, with braces that secure near the roll bars. I just meant it required no screws or drilling into the car frame, and no two faced tape to attach brackets. When installed it is rock solid, I tested it on Interstate 95, but it can be slipped out of...
Just got my new windscreen
As I mentioned earlier, I was investigating and got hooked up with a guy that made them for other cars but not the XLR. He worked with me and produced a design I liked. It requires no screws, no two face tape, no physical attaching to the car at all. It can easily be...
Thanks for all the info
I'll have to check out the other intakes, didn't know there were other options. Sounds like everyone is happy with their exhausts, guess I'll be flipping a coin, warranties look the same, and the videos sound similar.
