The LeBaron was a cool car. Especially the 92's however, the XLR and Allante do have similarities and it appears that they have the same proportions. The Cien and XLR have similarities, but the Cien and Allante do not. I would agree that the XLR is a composite of the Cien and the Allante...

Interesting, in looking at the designs throughout the years, one can see that Cadillac really has stayed true to it's heritage. Although I wonder if they had and Allante, Escallade and Catera at the show.

I am in Davenport Iowa now and have only seen one red XLR around town. I see it about once a month. When I went to Chicago for a week I only saw one and it was black. What happened to all the XLR's? Did people trade them for convertible Camaros? I saw quite a bit of those.:chuckle

What I do is just lay it flat in the trunk. I then make sure to disengage the sheild so that I can not move the top without going in and adjusting the clothing. Otherwise the old reliable method is to put it in a bag that fits underneath the sensor shroud and then iron everything when you get...

Does anyone know why I might be getting the message "options not available" when I press the options button. The car is running and the door is closed when I press the button, yet I can never get to the options. Any help would be appreciated, otherwise it is off to the dealer $$$$.:dunno:

The new XLR is absolutely fabulous! I think it is going in the right direction. I love my XLR and it did have to grow on me. Originally I thought it was understated. It still is, but this version is segment breaking. It is over the top just like the Prowler was for Chrysler. :)

Stella, That is exactly what I am trying to say. I have to physically adjust the mirror in position before driving. As I am driving and then look in the mirror I usually find that it has moved out of postion. When that happens I get a view of the seat and not the back window. Nevertheless...

Thanks johnpbaird. There must be something going on electonically, otherwise my mirror would stay in position. I am surprised no one else has had this issue. Either people aren't reading this post or I am just an anomaly. I think it's the latter.

Thanks mtrocket. My car is in storage now, but when it warms up and I can look at it I will look for the set screw and see if it needs tightening. Also does the autodimming feature move only the mirror or does it move the mirror housing? If it moves the housing to reposition the mirror...
