The part number for that specific part is probably irrelevant. I believe GM sold the consoles as a complete unit, so trying to find the cover will probably be frustrating. You'd probably have better luck finding the complete console.

The grounds for the wiring on the XLR can be finicky, and your problem looks like it might just be that issue. Be sure your dealer checks and cleans them all. There might have been a Technical Servie Bulletin on this issue......

It depends upon what you received for the exhaust system. i did find a slightly used "V" exhaust online. I olny replaced parts from the muffler back - it took me no time at all! I bought the MTW from Sunset Orange Creations. That took me a little longer to install.

The aftermarket HID conversions tend to be very sensitive to voltage and won't start when the volts from the alternator are low. The alternators in the XLRs are rather undersized to begin with - when a heavier load is present it could easily cause a voltage drop which would explain your...
