Got a check engine light the day after I purchased my XLR. I had the camshaft position sensors (4) replaced and #2 cylinder misfire fixed. #2 misfire is the only thing that comes up on techs analysis. Replaced the position sensors cause they were leaking based on prebuy inspection. The dealer...

Suggest you look for similar XLR's in the "For Sale" Forum for starters...... Get a true evaluation of any defects, faults or fixes and go from there. Even take it to Carmax, see what they give for it and add about 25 to 45 percent...

Remember the basic convertible is the Northstar V8 engine package. Nothing like the supercharged "V." Good luck with the sensor swap. As mickeytee would say, update us on how that goes for future work arounds....
