Thanks for the Response. I found that the Lock-Unlock switch on the Drivers door needed to be toggled a couple times before the Passenger door would unlock when it would not do so normally. I may try replacing the trunk struts but I don't think they really hold the trunk in the open position...

For no apparent reason my Trunk lid opens while it is in Winter Storage. It even happens when vehicle is locked. It will repeatedly open then close. Shorted wiring somewhere? It also sometimes opens when the drivers door is opened. Any guidance would be appreciated, Gord Baker

I managed to pinch some car cover in between roof and back of trunk lid when closing the Trunk Since then, sometimes when I open the Drivers Door the Trunk lid begins to raise. Some relay somewhere is causing a 5.6 Amp battery drain with all systems Off and doors locked. Any clues? 2008 XLR.
