Also sometimes it's much too cold or dark when you first start out in the morning. Latter when it warms up it is time for top down driving! yeah! :rocker:

Signs that It's the End (Almost Halloween)

    13) Another sign that it's the apocalypse is when your very friendly, well-behaved and loving grandson suddenly gets sent home from school. :dunno: You ask him why and he says:

Signs that It's the End (Almost Halloween)

    12) Yet another sign that you know its the apocalypse is when the cats that like to sit on your car have gotten far too big to chase away, and chase you away instead!

    Do you see XLRs??

Thanks 2barhaven2! What is interesting is that the XLR retraction time seems to be about the same as the "not GM retractables". Even if I am wrong I think that the only thing I would change about the XLR is that I would like the hard top retraction time to be about (15) seconds. Then a person...

    Do you see XLRs??

Wow, those commercials were cool! I still think that it is so amazing that the concept of the hard top convertible took more than (50) years before it was fully realized. As I said before it must have been because of the restrictions in trunk space. Also it probably did not do well in ice and...

    Dealer Buy Back Programs

The dealer would try to buy one's car back. In this case it is from one of my brothers. They want to buy his car back. In my opinion, it is not a good deal unless one owns the car out right and they are offering a really a good amount for it. I wanted to know what others thought or if they...

    Do you see XLRs??

Thanks for finding this! This is great! It seems like it took another 50 years for someone to dust off the old concept of a hardtop convertible and apply it to our vehicles. It is amazing that it is fully automatic just like ours. Also they had the same drawback as we do today. When the top...

Signs that It's the End (Almost Halloween)

    11) Another sign that it's the apocalypse is when you throw a halloween party and one of your guest shows up wearing only this! (I didn't know whether to ask them to take it off or keep it on! :willy_nilly:)

Shift points for 5 speed automatic- max speed to go into 1st gear?

Would that be the hill as you go down toward the airport from Hilcrest? People used to always speed there.

    Do you see XLRs??

Thanks for posting these great pictures! I will say that that Thunderbird is hot! The manufacturer of that car (cannot use the F-Bomb here :chuckle) did a great job in recreating that iconic vehicle, and staying true to it. :worship: I wonder if it did well in sales. Anyway, I was so...

Signs that It's the End (Almost Halloween)

    10) Another sign that it's the apocalypse is your car melts when it get's wet! (There's acid rain and then there is ACID RAIN!) DO NOT ALLOW YOUR XLR to get wet!

    XLR Pricing

Guy's remember we have got to keep these XLR's dry, stored in a garage in the winter and out of the rain. Otherwise, when they get wet enough eventually this happens (and you don't want that!). The future XLR is here! It's just not built yet! (Don't get it wet!)
