I agree :rocker:
They should also make sure that it comes with all the latest features including the "Trunk Monkey" Although since this is Cadillac and upper scale they might call it "Rear Compartment Simian".
Whatever they call it they should not leave this feature out.
Trunk Monkey...
Also if they did build the Elmiraj it and the Escalade would be the only vehicles in Cadillac's line-up which don't have initials for names. (ex. CTS, XTS, ATS, etc.)
Love the car, especially the fit and finishes! They look world class! However, if it is between building the Elmiraj and the new version of the XLR, please build the new XLR first. GM are you listening?
:rocker:
THAT CAR IS HOT!!!!!!!
GET IT BUILT AND STILL BUILD A NEW XLR TOO!!!!!
HOWEVER, IF IT IS BETWEEN THE ELMIRAJ AND THE XLR BUILD THE XLR FIRST PLEASE!!!!! :patriot:
I do not know. I do not recall seeing that. If you have On Star you might give them a call. They have a technical department. Those individuals might know.
Or maybe William R will come on and perhaps he can help.
Regarding the XLR and having a new version come back I wonder what the business model would be. Wasn't the XLR intended to only be a Halo vehicle to draw attention back to Cadillac and further raise the company's profile? In that case it was never meant for a long term production vehicle...
Opened up the mirror and yep the gray circle was broken. Tried the putty solution, thought that it was packed in tightly. However, after driving it around and on hot days the mirror still would move out of position, although not as much. Serched EBay and did not find any mirrors, so I broke down...
As I stated in your other thread, I have not noticed the trunk getting overly hot. I have carried cabonated drinks in the trunk and other grocery items. I believe you, it is just that it seems odd that the wine would get hot enough to explode. Are you sure that the cork wasn't already lose? When...
No, thank goodness. In my garage I know that I have enough overhead clearance. However if I park in a commercial garage I get out of the car and manually raise the roof. If I see that there is not enough space for full deployment then I quickly press the button and stop the assent.
There are...
I saw two at the dealer today. One was mine being serviced, the other belonged to the owner of the dealership. What was cool is that they were parked right next to each other. These cars are certainly head turners. Everyone notices them. I am in Davenport Iowa now so they are even more rare...
Wow, I did not know that the trunk got that hot. I have carried groceries back there including carbonated drinks and have never had a problem. This is good to know. Also, be warned that the center console area does get extremely hot. Do not put anything thta can melt in there. I think that...
Problem Solved but Still Have Questions
I took the car to the dealer and they found a technical bulletin that addressed the issue. That bulletin number is PIC4095B.
What happens is that I have a thrid key fob that I bought for the car just in case one got lost (My ex would lose all sorts of...
Most definitely! It was about the coolness and uniqueness of the vehicle. Also the Prowler is actually a 5.8 second (0-60) car and sold for around $75K if you wanted the one that the dealer had. However, if you ordered one and were willing to wait you could get it for $55/$60K.
Okay, back to...
The Chrysler-Maserati as it was called was really the Chrysler TC. Some think the TC stood for turbo charged (but that is just speculation). It came with a 2.2 L turbo charged engine. A friend of mine had one and she really loved it. She said at the time she wanted to buy one she had to pay top...
