Copper is not a better spark plug and it takes longer to R&R 8 plugs.

I have the LEDs installed with the load resisters and have has no issues for 2 1/2 years the resistor heat is not a problem but at least my DRLs are cool.

Its illegal in al 50 states to tint the windshield dont do it. Side glass is regulated by the state you live in check your state laws.

The XLR was assembled (body) on a seperate line and dropped onto the chassis on the main line where it went through the final stages of assembly. When you went through the plant in 2006 the XLR was already cutting production due to slow sales.

The XLR was based off the C6 Corvette but the C5 Vett was still in production and the 2004 XLR was built on a seperate line. The C5 ended production 2004 ending June 2005 and the XLR and C5 & C6 where on a common chassis they both could be built at the same time.

Have you checked the fuel pump module ground? It may be the problem. I think someone here had that problem a while ago do a search.

I wouldn't advise to do that as the air flow would go into the engine compartment instead of through the radiator. Corvettes and of course the XLR are bottom feeder cooling systems and altering the air flow will interfere with cooling. Yesterday it was 112F here in AZ and we drove to the valley...

Has the belt tensioner been changed? if so was it OEM or aftermarket. Too high belt tension will kill water pump bearings.

Has the differential oil been changed? If the oil and the additive isn't changed the positraction clutches will grab going around a corner and do what your describing.
