    INTERIOR UPGRADE

Yes Cubby, it's perforated, though I've never used the heated/cooled seats. Worst part was recovering the waterfall section between the seats - the damn lid is glued onto the frame.

AC Delco Fuel System Treatment Plus

Anybody tried SeaFoam as an additive? I've used for several years and never had any type problems. Great for small engines around the house too.

    INTERIOR UPGRADE

FINALLY got most of my interior redone the way I wanted it. Needs heat gun on them to get wrinkles out and still have to do arm rests/side panel insert but I got tired of waiting and am making a trip to FL this week and wanted to take this car. Will take it back to shop in a week or so to...

    Broken Console Cover

One's I've seen are not shiny - they are brushed stainless with polished edge/trim. sure looks better than thin dented aluminum I've seen. Just my opinion.

    Broken Console Cover

Has anyone tried the stick-on brushed stainless covers that American Car Crafters makes? They look nice in their photos. Only glitch I see is that once you adhere them, they're there to stay and can't be removed without also pulling off the original cover I would guess.

    Daily Chat

Don't think the carpet is gonna help the flat spots on your tires. That's due to the weight sitting on one area for extended periods.

    Definitive Battery Recommendations

Had the issue of the creaking/rubbing/grinding noise in the rear when car was cold and backing/turning out of garage. Changed out the differential lubricant and problem solved. There is a TSB on this. Recommends a specific lubricant. There are numerous posts about this on this forum. Hope...

    MAINTENANCE HOW-TO VIDEOS

QUOTE=xlrlist01;64861]The "How to replace the bulbs of your brake lights" has a curious take on the subject. Yes, a good bit of the info is not vehicle specific, but still might be helpful to some who don't have a clue where to begin. It's more useful on the more common vehicles. XLR's are...

    The Weather Channel

Yes, in the 50's they were built/sold mostly as basic work vehicles. My truck is what is called a 5 Star Cab - the equivalent of today's F150 Platinum!! It had the following OPTIONS: radio, heater, sun visor on passenger side, door lock on passenger side and, naturally, a flat-head V8!! It...

That'll look awesome. I like it especially because you don't see them at every car show you go to. Studey p/u's aren't real common! I'd sure have a chrome grille on it though - guess I'm too old school. ha ha I've had my little p/u since about 1980. The restoration is about 25 years old but...
