    Help! Cadillac XLR Headlights

Probably not. I've been watching a piece for my front end that hasn't been available for quite awhile, at least since i've owned my 09, suddenly it is. A different front bumper piece I ordered over a year ago and got, is currently not available. Recently it was. Maybe it's possible that if...

HELLO TO ALL MY NEW FRIENDS !!

Go to... Go to the Cadillac XLR Technical Discussion of the forums and read the post "expensive hydraulic parts no more" dont replace any sensors until you have determined if your pump has been sitting in water. I had the exact same problem you described recently and had to replace my pump...

    Expensive hydraulic parts -no more!

Very good information! I just checked them out tophydraulicsinc.com They're located in Florence, Oregon USA. You can send your pump to be rebuilt plus cylinders rebuilt and hoses. They must have a connection to the manufacturer which I think is in the Netherlands

Hello from the Beautiful Oregon Coast

Quite a few of us have bought the import Tech II and have had good luck no complaints. You will also need a set of factory service manuals and keep in mind they didn't have the supercharged 4.4l until model year 2006, so I would suggest having a set of 2006. I would recommend Helms or ebay. PM...

Hello from the Beautiful Oregon Coast

Don't forget the coolant pump for the intercooler, the hoses, and coolers down front for the intercooler system. And the radiator and all the hoses. The intake is different as well the H pipe for the exhaust. The torq tube is different, not sure about the cable and all other connections...

    Too cold to move top!

I have seperated the motor from the Valve body , but you can't take the motor itself apart because it is crimped together.

    Hello from Norht Europe!

Temp sensor Welcome to the forum! The temp sensor is at the lowest point of the motor. The sensor itself can not be replaced. If it needs to be replaced, you will have to replace the complete pump assembly. While you are waiting for your Tech II, get a set of the factory service manuals if...

    Tow Hooks and Black Bag

Tow hook I'm looking at parts pages and see a part number for hook and mounting bracket for the rear, 10438557 and 10302406, both numbers cover 2006 to 2009. Not sure about 04 and 05. And I do not see parts listed for front tow hook on any model years.

HRE 543R: Testing clearances on 2007 XLR

Mufflers The muffler part number for 2007 and 2009 are different. Naturally the tips welded to the 2007 will be cause for a higher price than 2009 due to the 2009 not having tips welded to the outlet itself. Also the H pipe on a 2007 base is different part number than a 2009 Platinum. Who...

HRE 543R: Testing clearances on 2007 XLR

XLR-V mufflers Here is a shot of a pair of V mufflers that came off a 2006 XLR-V. They were stripped and painted heat resistant silver and the tips and valves were polished. They are the same as a 2009 XLR-V, I compared numbers when I had both.

HRE 543R: Testing clearances on 2007 XLR

Ultimate tips Well those are the ultimate in exhaust tips for the XLR. Unfortunately they will not work with the dual mode mufflers on a V. The dual mode V mufflers have two separate pipes on each muffler exiting from the rear of the muffler. I sure like the looks of that tip tho.
