    Code P0174 "System Too Lean"

Thank you for the details. During COVID, I replaced most everything under the Hood. All hoses (fuel, vacuum and coolant), Radiator, Thermostat, injectors, throttle body, MAF, MAP, Valve cover seals, Coils, Plugs, Intake Seals, Plenum and all 3 "Boots" or connectors. Not just throwing parts at...

    Code P0174 "System Too Lean"

Hey RD; So did installing the correct ACDelco MAF indeed resolve the P0171 problems. Do you recall the correct part number, maybe 213-1548? This seems to be the one all the Suppliers are recommending and the one I have, but it did fit very tight and still fighting the P0171 and sometimes P0174. thnx

2004 XLR No Power to Fuel control module.

Interesting. I'm sure you've already checked all your connections and such, these cars are very complicated and I haven't had a simple fix yet. Hopefully someone can offer some direction. Did you lower the rear-end to remove the tanks?

    Intermittent No Fob Detected

Don't want to beat a dead horse as there are several posts here on this subject. But I recently applied every trick in the book troubleshooting the ongoing "No Fob" issue with the Raven. Replaced battery, swapped components, removed cell phone from cockpit, unplug phone charger, reset BCM, ECM...

    Coil and spark plugs recommendation

Hi Sammy, My intake loosens itself from time to time, easy to properly torque. Careful to not over tighten, plastics are unforgiving. If your X was good before storing, rather than suspect ignition I would suspect Critters. Your description sounds like damaged wires, shorted or open circuit will...

    XLR started ALL of this

Agreed, Each drive includes at least one person asking about the car. Never happened in my long list of other cars... When I purchased mine, the Seller said "Oh, be prepared to be approached a lot". I laughed, little did I know.

    Reprogram Tool

"Reprogram all the Electronics" could mean your asking about a "Reflash" which resets all the setpoints back to factory and/or adds any updates. Depending on where you are, $100-$250. Or, are you are looking for a Tech2 Tool for yourself? Either connects under the dash called the OBD2 port...

Start the XLR with a dead key fob

Welcome, Read your Owners manual. Lots if useful generic info there. If you dont have a manual, search and download one. In the meantime, there is a "slot" inside the glovebox on the left. Insert the fob and the Car will see it dead battery or not. Hopefully this gets you going.

    Help! Servicing My 2004 XLR

Hi Jim, I don't use the Dealers much but I'm sure they wont turn you away. The Mechanicals on our Cars are basically the same as the DTS and Corvettes. The exclusives are the Tops, Electrics, Radiator, etc. The items you would have "serviced" are Engine Oil, Coolant, Transmission, Differential...
