All is well here in Pa. Glad to see the garage project finally got somewhere! But here with COVID-19 issues Wendy has been working from home and I open an online Car Care Product sales website in February. It’s a pretty good line of products, even waterless car wash and a no hose needed just a...

Lift Points on the frame of XLR's

Hi Dick, I’ve also seen some where they used a correct size eye bolts fasten to the puck. I bought a set of 4 off eBay and must of left 1 in the hole after use, it must of bounced out down the road somewhere! Now I only have 3. On another note there’s this phone APP called Tapatalk that keeps up...

    2002 Key Fob

The new style also has the slot to store the key in, although you would need to have a blank made to match your original. Most new remotes would come with a blank key. Thanks Caddy Dan using Tapatalk

    Fuel tank problem

So the question is then, should we still lower the gas tank then at least half way or more to get gas additives mixed though both tanks? Or does this jet pump circulate fast enough to mix it up in both tanks? Thanks Caddy Dan using Tapatalk

It’s usually every 5 years! Just keep a eye here on the forum, when it comes up if it’s a gathering event being setup it will be on the forum here! I think you’re right last one was 2018 around this time of the year! Let’s hope the COVID is long gone by then!....Happy Cruz’in Thanks Caddy...

    Fuel tank problem

Tank should be under half full before adding the Techron Additive as since it’s 2 tanks the second tank on the passenger still has a full tank until driven to under at least a quarter tank of gas or less then fill the tank full to mix the additive in both tanks. Thanks Caddy Dan using Tapatalk

    Dead won't start

Hi, It’s sounds like the same problem I had, it’s an easy and cheap fix! Only it cost me 1200$ before I found this out. If it’s the same as mine it’s just a ground too the fuel pump. See pictures below for the simple fix! Good Luck Thanks Caddy Dan using Tapatalk

What did you do to / with your XLR today?

Very nice here in PA too, took Roxy out last Sunday and drove until we were lost, then Wendy ask her phone to take us back to KFC in Gettysburg to pick up dinner, then went out again this evening and planning on Cruz’in tomorrow too! Thanks Caddy Dan using Tapatalk

    Water in Trunk

There was never a fix, but if you make sure the rubber hose under the pump, that drains out the underside on car, and never gets debris in that tube and stays clog free that is the answer to fixing the water problem! Water runs down an it’s going go where ever it finds a channel, it’s also best...

Help! Is it me or the car?

Now that you mentioned the power steering rack, before I purchased mine 05 I notice in the papers of past repair work of things that the rack was replaced, but since it’s unknown why in the information, and not a popular conversation here of others needed to replace a rack, I can’t imagine it...

Help! Is it me or the car?

It’s sound similar to mine before new tires and alignment, I don’t use the runflats and some day I may regret that, but I have about three different roadside services which one includes AAA so I’m not too concerned if I would happen to get a flat I also keep a mini compressor with the tire...
