05 Error Codes

I am getting error codes saying both banks are lean and something about airflow. I replaced the filters when i got the car a few weeks ago and changed the MAFS this week. Any ideas? This is not a V.

I have not had to deal with this particular problem you have... but from year of following the XLR forums, i suspect you have an intake or vacuum leak somewhere. Its introducing un-metered air into the system and causing a lean condition.

Many of the vacuum lines and such are plastic and they become brittle over time causing tiny leaks.

My suggestion is to see if you can find any air leaks.

tighten all the 10mm bolts on the intake manifold. I forget the torque but check that they are snug.

I found some air leaks at the MAF connections. I bet that will fix it. I will know today as I am going to the dealer to pick up a 2nd key fob.
