Help! Opening trunk with key and dead battery

I turn the key about 90 degrees clockwise and hear sounds inside trunk, but trunk does not open. Manual is in glove box

You have to manually lift it. By the way, it’s heavy, you might need some help.

If you got a dead battery, it certainly won't lift the trunk lid. It's best to have a second set of hands unless you're a contortionist. The rear deck is heavy, and to avoid any damage to the hinges, cylinders, pull of on the deck from the center mounted Cadillac badge while turning the key in the lock cylinder
