rocker panel hole

Anyone else ever see this? It appeared on my drivers side only.

It appears to be a hole? Does it look like it punched in? (ie, bits or fibres going inward) OR is it more like a flake of gelcoat missing, hard to tell in picture. Likely a stone or a piece of debris came up from the road.

It has a very round shape to it, like it was perforated and "pushed in" maybe by the detailer since it is full of what appears to be buffing compound or? It is down low and I did not notice it until lately.

Ouch! Doesn't look like your buffing that out. Looks like it went through the panel towards the rear of the hole? Golfball? Someone tapping their shoe before they got in? Adjustable lifting arm from a hoist? Sorry to see.

Looks almost like a perfect circle, just had my drivers side rocker panel replaced due to scuff marks from the dealers lift.........it looks like something punctured it.

It didn't just appear and I would bet my last dollar that whoever did it knows it!!
