ok using the vette as a base car doesnt bother me as much. the 789 isnt as horrible as the godfather. as a custom i kinda like it, as long as it starts off as a corvette. seems like a waste of a XLR. that is is a rare car already.
however, the main reason i bought an XLR was , hardtop convertible ! so if someone wanted to do a really nice 789, and wanted the hardtop as an option, logically it would begin as an XLR.
still a bad idea though!
