Selling my ‘04 XLR. The car runs and drives great and has 94,300 miles on it. It’s obviously been painted in a non-original color. Interior is in nice shape. Everything works including roof, heated/cooled seats, etc. The DIC has alerts for stabilitrack and ride control. I‘ve run a scan on the car and it shows the front shocks are not communicating. I was planning on doing the Bilstein replacement. I bought the car for something to play with while I’m in St. Louis, but a bucket list car has come up and I’ve bought it and don’t have room for it and the XLR. I think I’ve got it priced reasonably. Issues that I’m aware of are:
- Front bumper has some scuffs so could use a respray
- Headlights are cloudy but should polish OK. I have two headlight refurbish kits that go with the car
- PS at low rpm is non existent. At higher rpm steering is fine. I believe the PS pump needs replacing
- Inner door release buttons work but are pushed in from the door panel
- X emblems on drivers fender and trunk lid are missing
- Driver’s seat control fascia has been screwed on (assuming clips were broken)
- small puncture in leather on passenger outer bolster about 3/4 of the way up
- Navigation disc is missing
Other than that, it’s a really nice running/driving XLR.
Thanks,
Allan
