I've read about a paint scuff on the roof about a pencil eraser size. Well after washing her down yesterday I decided to drop the top for the day. There was already a little, light clear coat scuff about 3/4 the way back on roof about where the side window ends and about 2" in off the drivers side. So when I was retracting the top I watched everything and when the roof is stowed in the trunk I stopped before the trunk shut to see what was hitting the roof. I thought the screw end with the torx's end that are on the brackets if you look at the bottom side of the trunk lid. Remember reading that grinding a little off should solve problem so I did. Lowered the trunk and drove around for the day. The day was beautiful, the car felt totally different topless awesome. I popped the trunk later and saw that the screw that I ground wasn't touching the roof but the actual bracket that the screw is threaded through is slightly rubbing on the roof. Question is is their any adjustment I can do or anything to solve the problem I am pretty capable I just don't want to open a can of worm's?any advice would be appreciated thanks.
