Sitting here scratching my head trying to figure out how the fuel filler door got on the right side of the car. Were the rhd export cars configured this way?

Nice catch! Don't think so though because to best of my knowledge I thought they was all assembled at the Corvette Plant in Bowling Green Ky. Maybe some else knows and will chime in!

Fuel Filler door
When you are SITTING in the Drivers seat, your Left is the Left side of the car.
The car in the photo has the fuel filter on the Left (correct) side.
Perhaps you are looking at a photo I do not see.
Time to wind your compass!

photoshop reversed
Like this notice how the emblems are reversed.
And this with the filler on the RH side.. The V was reversed to make it look correct, but it's not.
Here is the driver side if you don't believe it. Again the V was reversed in the image.
