Help! HELP! Need to know what number remote I have?

Hello I am new to the XLR Forms, I recently bought a 2005 XLR and it came with only one remote. I want to get a second remote but I do not know what number remote I have now? There are no markings on the back of the remote so I do not know what remote I have now? Anyone have any suggestions on what to do to find out what remote I have now to order the other one for my car?

On my Fobs on the bottom End is a tiny 1 or 2. I believe that may be the Fob Number indicator.

For some reason, the #2 is cheaper from GM than the #1 Fob.

When you start the car up, what Driver # shows in the DIC? The standard remote should show a 1 or a 2 on the back. Really makes no difference, just an easy way to identify them. It all depends on what order they were programmed into the module. If you can find a 2009 replacement fob it's a much better design and has the integrated key for the emergency unlock switch.
