So my '04's been sitting for a couple weeks and I go to get in and the battery is stone dead. The stupidity part is the emergency key is in the console. I can't believe I put it in there. Anybody have any ideas?

Sorry for the delay. Don't know how or why but the little "dome" on top of the sensor is gone. the sensor still works but the actual guts are exposed. Seems like a lot of work to replace the sensor. Any thoughts?

So I'm looking at a "picture" and it shows 2 screws on the left and right side and 2 on the side facing the consoles. Take them out and tilt the upward, reach under and remove the sensor. Correct? Just making sure I got it right. Thanks.

I'm assuming its a headlight sensor. On the upper dash pad toward the windshield. Its on a separate metal grid on the dash pad. Question is, does that metal grid , with the sensor on it, come off separately from the padded dash? Thanks!!

Question for anybody using a dash mat. Which one did you use, and did it have a cutout for the HUD, and did it cut down the reflection on the windshield? Depending on what time it is, it's an sob to see. Thanks

I must be missing something. I have the same problem ( have a kit). Why not make a brass (or bronze) bushing and use a stainless steel bolt and lock nut? Plus a stainless washer on both sides?

So you can replace the front cable bushing from inside the car? Seems easier than crawling under the car. I've been into that area before. Thought about putting zippers on the console cover. lol
