I must be missing something. I have the same problem ( have a kit). Why not make a brass (or bronze) bushing and use a stainless steel bolt and lock nut? Plus a stainless washer on both sides?

So you can replace the front cable bushing from inside the car? Seems easier than crawling under the car. I've been into that area before. Thought about putting zippers on the console cover. lol

2004 xlr. So I go for a ride, everything works great. I pull in the driveway, put it in reverse and back up. No problem. Put it in drive, shifter moves to drive, but the transmission is still in reverse. No matter where I move the shifter, the tranny's still in reverse. ON top of this, the top's...

No oem's are available. I just received the drivers side bottom (shale), from richmond autoupholstery. It looks identical to the stock one. It has long nylon channels attached to it and a few hog rings. Do you have to remove the seat to take the old one off? Thanks

Thanks micky, I was confused about which bulbs are which. Everything works right now so I'll just leave it alone. Cross that bridge when I get there. Hate those blue headlights.

old question, I guess. Headlights both work, but it seems inevitable, they go bad. Have read about changing to leds. Do the bulb sockets twist and pull out? If you change to leds, what about the ballast? Am familiar with electrical circuits but haven't looked at these. If doable, are they...
