Hi all,
I'm looking for replacement headlights for my 2005 XLR. The car was originally in FL and the covers on the headlights are in pretty bad shape. We assume we'll need to replace the entire unit.
Thanks,
Diane
Hi Crimson Pearl - Welcome to the XLR-Net forum. I'm also in the Tarheel State (outside Raleigh) and have a 2005 XLR that we bought in September of '08. I absolutely love my car.

I know - it sounds a bit odd. We have a toy hauler (car trailer with living quarters) that we use to take our '73 Plymouth Duster to the drag strips and be able to camp at the strip. We are meeting friends in Maggie Valley for a Harley dealers' sponsored rally and will be camping there (they...
We will be trailering my 05 XLR to the mountains of NC next weekend to go camping with friends (have a toy hauler we use to go drag racing) and wanted to see if anyone has trailered their XLR. If so, how did you attach the tie-down straps while in/on the trailer?
Thanks - Diane
Hi - I have an Ipod FM connector that I bought when I first got my Ipod about three years ago. I got it at an auto parts place (I think Auto Zone) for about $30. I plug it into the power outlet in the car (or in our PT Cruiser in the cigarette lighter) and tune it to a frequency that is free...
Have to admit I swiped this from another (non-auto related) forum.

You are blonde and on a bus, when you suddenly fart. Luckily the music
is very loud.
So every time you fart, you time it with the music.
When you start making your way to the door as you exit the bus
Everybody is...
Until we bought my 2005 XLR in September, my DH and I were Mopar Or No Car almost totally. I've driven a friend's Viper at the race track (around the pits and he let me make a pass down the drag strip) and the Viper definitely has a MUCH rougher ride. I think your fiancee's comment about the...
We put a new battery in my 2005 XLR about a month ago (partly to replace the hideous Interstate Battery green battery) and it was dead this morning. I'm positive there was nothing turned on and there were no warnings showing when I pulled into the garage last night. The only thing I've noticed...
Ray and my husband Tony would probably hit it off immediately. Tony's never seen a motorized vehicle (four or two wheels) that he didn't want to own one of. Right now for the two of us we have 2 Pick-ups (1996 Dodge Indy Special and 2001 Dodge Diesel), a 2005 PT Cruiser and Mr X. We also have...
I guess for me it must be a "redneck" thing - I love my XLR (Mr X) but also love driving our 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 diesel (probably has something to do with growing up in GA and SC) :chuckle:laugh:

I wish we could - unfortunately my DH and I both work 40+ hours a week and the travel from NC to SA is about 24 hours driving time. Since we both have to stop frequently to have bio/stretch breaks :) we would probably have to take 3 days each way - that's a LONG time of driving. That also is...
