Kind of a bittersweet day. 55 degrees and sunshine worked out well for a short drive to fill up the tank before a final cleanup and putting her to sleep for the rest of the winter.
Normally this would of happened much earlier but I was in a show last weekend.
Think Spring !
Do you think the memory saver is really needed or just being careful? I've never had a problem without it. Window indexing is all I've ever need to do.
Anyone else think it's needed? :dunno: just curious.
I've never been concerned with any kind of aux. power when changing batteries. Re-index the windows is all that is really needed if you work at an ordinary pace. A long term disconnect may require driver settings and radio stations to be re-done. I've never had to do it.
Some user functions...
The VIN should start with 1G6YX There should be a V symbol on the tach.
My badging is custom paint.
Sadly Luna passed last November. She left behind 6 other fur kids all 135+ pounds.
Welcome.
All V models came from the factory with the "SUPERCHARGED" badging on the doors. Some people prefer the look without it and remove them. Not a big deal and certainly not worth worrying about.
My doors:
It's what's under the hood, and the other V features, that matter. Are you...
Many codes are readable with a standard OBDII diagnostic scanner, as required by federal law. A TechII provides additional diagnostic functions. Do you know the code? Many parts stores will read them for free if you do not have a scan tool.

The prep is done, let the crowds begin. I'm in the Cavalcade of Customs, a 3 day ISCA indoor show that will get tens of thousands of visitors at the Cincinnati Convention Center.
The temperature was below zero on arrival (trailered :) ) Looking forward to it getting lots of attention as I'm...
Use the emergency key to unlock the trunk through the covered hole on the left side of the rear bumper.
Manually lift the trunk lid.
Look for slits in the trunk liner. The emergency door release cable is in different spots depending on the year. Mine is under the floor liner on the drivers...
I took it and got them all right. However, IMHO it was only a very basic set of questions that really anyone who drives should know about their car. Not so sure i agree with some of the answers, especially the radiator one. A radiator is a heat exchanger that is only part of the cooling...
+1 on the Kinovo unit. I really like mine. I used the Ray Kawai AUX1F adapter. It is A2DP capable allowing music to be played through your stock audio system automatically muting the music for either phone calls or turn by turn GPS directions. I was impressed when I was able to make a call...
2003 maybe? Vetronix Corporation - Diagnostics and Telematics Solutions
I purchased mine direct for $300 (including Candi and shipping) and would do it again. At the time it was 10% of the price of the ones sold in the US. I was not going to spend $3000 for a diagnostic tool. Even finding...
