Haven't had to do mine for over a year now, but once you "OK" the procedure, starting from a closed top position, you lower the top, then raise the top to complete the procedure. Back out of the relearn screen, disconnect the TECHII and it should work Here's the procedure from the shop manual...
Sounds like you didn't have them install the Sirius module that is required for Sirius reception. It's an add on module. If it was installed, you wouldn't get that message. The icon for it might be on your screen but that's all
