Just for grins, try re-indexing the windows. Then try relearn again

    Tech 2 Relearn Procedure question

Haven't had to do mine for over a year now, but once you "OK" the procedure, starting from a closed top position, you lower the top, then raise the top to complete the procedure. Back out of the relearn screen, disconnect the TECHII and it should work Here's the procedure from the shop manual...

    Kenwood DNX893S in the XLR

Richard, it looks like the Sirius SXV300 still requires a separate antenna. Original poster was wanting to use the stock XLR antenna

    Kenwood DNX893S in the XLR

You're not understanding. The Kenwood unit requires a Kenwood Sirius module. It has the cable that will plug in the back end of the 693 head unit.

    Kenwood DNX893S in the XLR

Sounds like you didn't have them install the Sirius module that is required for Sirius reception. It's an add on module. If it was installed, you wouldn't get that message. The icon for it might be on your screen but that's all

    No power to top. Help

Maybe, maybe not, but re-index your windows. XLR's are flaky and the least thing will affect them

Help! Pioneer 4500NEX plus 5 channel amplifier?

Nope, you don't need any of the OEM stuff to get an aftermarket unit to work. You won't have radio info in the HUD, small loss There are a couple of wires (audio) that you have to jump to get the sound to the speakers. The diagram for this is in my 4 year old post. They also had an adapter for...

From what I read, it's a fairly common occurence

    When It Rains, It Floods

Got in the car today to take a small Sunday cruise, waited for the Kenwood stereo to boot up, and son of a *****, it has an endless boot loop. Means an IC board has fried. Have to contact Kenwood tomorrow to see about sending off for repairs. Some Kenwoods are able to get reflashed on the...

UPDATE ON MY 2006 AND DEALER FIASCO

UPDATE: 6-6-20 I knew when I took the car in to the local shop it would be placed on a lower status. That's the way things work. My mechanic has been putting it through some testing, test driving with a TECH II attached. Everything indicates that a wheel speed sensor is bad, but then a Service...

    Help. Trunk wont stay open

I would say to give it a try and have a top relearn with a TECH II done. That has solved several problems like that on my XLR
