Got in the car today to take a small Sunday cruise, waited for the Kenwood stereo to boot up, and son of a *****, it has an endless boot loop. Means an IC board has fried.
Have to contact Kenwood tomorrow to see about sending off for repairs. Some Kenwoods are able to get reflashed on the internet, but, hell no, not the 893s model.

Rex,,, If it wasn't for bad luck,,,you wouldn't have any luck at all

:grouphug: We feel your pain....:pat:

REX is in TABARNAC

REX.

Any ideas of the cause…..is a receiver unit equivalent would be an economical way for the fix.
