Electronic Titles certainly make a lot of sense, but I'm not sure I like the SSN as the proof of ownership.

the power door lock button on the driver door will unlook all doors, but will only lock the two frond doors... so both back doors remain unlocked unless I manually lock them.

I'm posting in off topic cause this is a question on my Escalade... the power locks are not working on BOTH back doors... they lock fine, but they don't unlock anymore... I'm guessing a wiring issue cause it's both doors, but has anyone experienced this that can offer any advice. HELP... JT

I sent off my request for title to NJ today with my check for $60 and we'll see what happens. I did get a hold of a VP at Chance Bank to discuss the issue and according to him there was a new federal law (part of the banking reform) that allows banks who hold title to "dispose" of said title...

Has anyone ever not gotten a title from the finance company once the loan is paid off? I was told by Chase bank that banks don't hold title anymore and they just send out lien satisfaction letters and it's the owners responsibility to pay to get a duplicate title from motor vehicle.

May I also suggest you "test" them every once in a while... A quick test on the driver door release proved a broken cable. Obviously my dealership make the necessary repairs, but I'm sure glad I didn't discover the issue after an accident. JT

If only they could figure out how to put all that HP in an AWD version...

I keep mine ready to go at anytime, although she does sit in the garage most of the time... Here in Denver we have nice days more often than not.
