Replacement Battery for my 2005 XLR

After reviewing several of the battery threads here and looking at recent Amazon reviews for both Odyssey and Optima, I decided to go with Odyssey. I know they've been great for some XLR owners, but suggest being sure to look specifically at Amazon reviews since 2017 for Optima before choosing...

    Eucalyptus Trim

Hi Mikeytee, Interested in what products you use when you repair the wood trim. After upgrading my head unit, I'm in the process of trying to make two small Zingana/Zebrawood trim pieces to cover where the plastic trim plate is filling in the gaps that were left on either side. I could live...

1959 Cadillac XLR err...DeVille Roadster Alternate History Concept

I thought this was a fun article. I wonder if anyone from XLR-Net can lay claim to being the one who approached them with the concept. 1959 Cadillac Roadster DeVille Rendering Never Existed But Should HaveAt least the DeVille Roadster concept turned out far better than the '77 Escalade they...

    Swapping Headers Without Dropping Engine

Thanks for reply Richard. Do you remember if you were able to remove the heat shield on the passenger side or did you just work around it? There didn't seem any way to get it pulled clear from the bottom without doing some significant damage to it in the process.

    Swapping Headers Without Dropping Engine

Last weekend I exchanged beer for my neighbor's help and we swapped out my OEM exhaust with a Billy Boat Fusion system. That all went fine and happy with the results. We also took a look at swapping my OEM headers for the MagnaFlow units I purchased a while back. My neighbor has extensive...

    Show Us Your XLR

I can't say enough about how impressed I was with how detailed the laser etching turned out. The pictures don't do it justice.

    Show Us Your XLR

Finally had a chance to snap a couple of pictures of the custom Wind Restrictor. That is Trogdor (one of my favorite online cartoon characters) burninating the V logo. I may have gone a bit overboard, but it was fun working on the design and seeing the finished result.

    Do you see XLRs??

Great find graytoad, thanks for sharing. I don't know much about Mary Kay cars, but could that be a contender for the most expensive MK car ever?

    Important! 2004 XLR Raven

Blessings in your time of sorrow. I grew up in the 509, so many good people in that part of the country. Based on her smile, your Vivian was one of them.

Sadly TROGDOR was taken/not allowed, so I went with BURNN8R For the 99.9% of you that have no idea what I'm talking about and have 3min 45sec to burn: Trogdor Video

Swap 2005 XLR front bumper 4 XLR-V front bumper

This is great, my grille is banged up and I strapped together a fix, but couldn't find an OEM replacement. Will have to see what I think about the tow hook hole, might go your route of covering it up with emblem. Anyone know what the part number is for the mounting screws/snaps/whatever that go...
