Thanks for all the info bruce. I dont know if it is the pump but it is coming from that basic area and you can't see anything in there. I guess I will start pulling things off till I see the leak. Any idea how much time it takes to change the pump? the whole job that is.

Every once in a while I see antifreeze in the floor. It may go 6 days and nothing and then on the 7 th a little puddle. It is coming from the front of the engine. Not the radiator, Thats new. It is either the water pump or something around that. Any ideas? And if it is the water pump how hard is...

I had the same problem with trixie. If you pop the console cover off there is a solinoid next to the shifter you can watch work. Mine had a wire that fell down on top of it and sometime's restricted it. I just moved and secured the wire and havn't had a problem since.

I put 311000 on the Allante before I sold it and it was still a great car.

I was looking at my maintenance records yesterday and I realized I've put 20000 miles on the x in one year, 1700 on my truck and 9000 on the BMW. This car is so much fun to drive I always choose it unless the weather is bad. We'll just see how many miles you can get out of one of these babies.

I got the new disk's today. They worked fine in the 06. I put then in mine and nothing. It just says please insert nav disk. I put my version 3 disk and it works fine. What gives. Bruce, Any input. How could they work in an 06 and not in an 04. Any thought's?

Tried that today. Nothing works. I guess I just got bad disk's. I have some new one's coming. I'll try them.

I acquired a Version 8 nav disk set from an 06 v today. I know it worked in the 06 but when I put it in my 04 it just says insert nav disk. When I put my old disk back in it works fine. Is there a difference the nav disk's on an 04 and an 06v?

When I bought them, They checked with GM and they said it was a 45 offset so I went with a 38 The tires I got are 255 35 20. Iv'e had them for 2 months and they have never rubbed.

The 04 came out with analogue cell phone for the Onstar. It will not work anymore since everybody's system is digital so you have to put the digital module in the system. Like I said Onstar will pay for the module if you sign up for a year of service. As for the xm I really dont know about Ebay...
