    CUSTOM EXHAUST TIP

Like many posts I've read on this forum, I really do not like the Corvette exhaust tips on these cars. The oval shape just doesn't go with the car nearly as well as the tips seen on the 2009 models. After and exhaustive search for some aftermarket tips that, in my opinion, more suit the car I...

    News: Good~Year Eagle RS-A P235/50ZR18 EMT 97W

yeah, that 120 mph issue can be a real problem going to the mall. I had an o4 Corvette with OE run-flats - took them off and put on regular Michellin's - ride was greatly improved. I don't find myself running 120 on a daily basis though so I'm probably not the norm.

    News: Good~Year Eagle RS-A P235/50ZR18 EMT 97W

I'm a Michellin fan - always have been. I went with them and a Fix-a-flat repair pak!!! You really don't hear of folks having many flat tires these days anyway - much improvement over years past and surely a better ride than most run-flats. Just my opinion.

    Help! Transmission situation.

I'd sure consider trying to use an axle cap once you install the new bushings - - - should prevent the cable from slipping off next time the bushing wears out.

    2006 XLR from Sunny Florida!

XCELLENT CHOICE and year!! Welcome to the gang from a former Floridian (Lakeland and Orlando) This color wasn't my first choice, but the car was too nice to pass on. Now the color is starting to grow on me and I like the fact that every other one isn't the same color as mine (ours)!

    PREVENTION

Rexster - apparently you did something wrong. Put mine on today. Took me about 1 1/2 hr and 8 beers for the install. Now, I have to sit and imbibe on the remainder of the 30-pak watching them dry. CHEERS:D

    Upholstery

A GOOD upholstery shop should be able to get VERY CLOSE to matching your leather. Having some interior work done on my car right now. I'm guessing that IF you can find GM upholstery, it's gonna be very pricey.
