Whew .... we just got home from a 3,000 mile road trip .... but not in Lola .... but the Escalade ... I am not going to even try to give you mpg/$$ because gas was over $4 from San Diego all the way to Portland area ..... :pat: We had an EXCELLENT vacation and road trips are the only way to...

We're doing that now! Have driven way up the PCH now. Staying in Florence, OR on the 101. Took us 3 days but if you do it in a group you will need more like a week. Way too much to do ... San Diego could use about 3 days and that would be doing it on speed. :)

:pat: In 'the good ol' day's of the Rendezvous of the XLR's - we traveled from San Diego to the Corvette factory in KY .... It would take Ray 2 days to pack for our 2 week trips. Of course, besides of all of our travel needs, Lola had her own makeup kit. I have to agree with you though...
