You can get one (Setting Keeper) at WalMart or any of the parts stores--it
uses a 9V battery and plugs into your cigar lighter/power outlet. Cost is a few $'s.
FWIW, I've had two of my cars on trickle chargers for eight years or more and on Battery Minders
for the last two to three years with no ill effects to the cars nor to the house!
I know this doesn't answer your question/problem, but I'd change the trans fluid and filter(s)
before I'd deal with the dealer. The fluid /filter(s) are 10 years old! Good luck!
It HAS been listed for 6 months, more or less, so it's probably a rebuild, theft or flood car if
they still have. You get what you pay which is fine IF you know what you're getting.

You may be right though the rep offered an incentive--though a small one--on the 08"s.
Most dealers are not going to tell you what they sold the car for and I did not ask. And from
what I've seen on their TV show, there's no way in hell I'd believe them! :< )
Who knows! Hendricks Chrevrolet in Buford, GA still has their ad up, and the car was sold
a week ago Thursday. Some dealers leave ads up as "traffic" generators.
