Sorry Phrede, I can't help with how to remove the plastic as I just received the foam seat bottoms recently and haven't had a chance to replace them yet. From your pictures it looks like an easy matter to seperate the plastic from the foam with a razor blade and a little gentle pulling. Dave

Phrede, I also recently purchased the seat bottom foam and it doesn't have the plastic attached to it either but it seems easy enough to remove it from the old foam and glue it to the new bottom. Does that appear to be a non-workable solution? :dunno: Dave
