When I open the trunk, the trunklid very slowly starts to fall down and will eventually close itself. Is this a hydraulic issue or are there weak shocks?

So the driver's lamp socket was busted and I pulled that white insert out to grab the part number and look it up on GM Parts Direct... I pull it off, and it has a Pentagon on it, and a part number of 56005077. I do a quick google and SURE ENOUGH... it pulls up a part from a 94-99 Jeep, interior...

I'm using the Fram Airhogs... similar, cheap, and seem fine to me
