Got the mirror off and took a pic. It looks nothing like what I keep finding for how to repair. Looks like 2 tabs are broken. Anyone have any experience fixing this? Do I have to buy another mirror? Looks one of those is like $400.

Months ago I took the carpet out of the trunk until I had my leak fixed. Yesterday I was putting it back in when I realized I don’t remember exactly where the hooks go that hold the mesh behind the seat in place. I thought with the top folding up I should make sure this is attached correctly...

I’ve got the same issue with my 2005. What years does the repair mentioned above apply to? The reason I ask is it appears the 04-05 mirror is different than the 06-09.

Agreed. Any idea how much weight was saved removing the hydraulic stuff? Does the trunk open manually now? Would be cool if someone made a lightweight alternative to the hydraulics.

Thought I’d find a thread on weight reduction but haven’t seen anything. Has anyone done a detailed thread for this? I know the seats are 61 lbs each so there’s a feasible start. What else can be done to cut weight without doing stuff like deleting door panels? Am I wasting my time even considering?

Anyone got a recommendation for someone familiar with XLR suspension and the suspension control module issue? My module is bad. I need someone to install Z06 shocks, Z06 rear sway bar, and lowering bolts to lower about an 1” in front and 1-1/2” in the rear.

New question: There is plenty of info stating the Tech2 doesn’t show an F55 for the XLRs. I’ve also read that the mag ride was previously called F45 by GM. Has anyone / will anyone see if a Tech2 will show a F45? If it does perhaps the mag ride can be turned off unlike previously thought.
