    Hello old friends

I kept it at that time and still have it. I'm on the fence about selling. It's more of a garage queen which I said I would never have.

    Hello old friends

Sorry to have left out the details. 2008 located an hour SW of Cincinnati. Hi Cubby. I'm doing a major car shuffle My Ram MegaCab has a buy back on it. My RAV4 is having paint work done, at Toyotas expense, for the second time because of peeling paint. I'm not sticking around for number 3...

    Hello old friends

:wave:Hello to my old friends here as I haven't been here in a long while. I hope you all are well. For personal reasons, I have not been able to enjoy my XLR-V much anymore. I can count on one hand the times she has been out the past 2 seasons. So I am considering selling to someone who...

Things just aren't what they used to be

It saddens me to see what this forum has evolved to. When I first came here over 4 years ago it was refreshingly different than most online forums. Helpful comments that were technically correct and knowledgeable were being shared routinely. The helpful intent was obvious. Subjective topics...

    Blue tooth

No it does not have Bluetooth from the factory. There are aftermarket options available.

Then why did you buy one? or did someone give it to you? Do you normally spend your money purposefully on an inferior product? Better at what? Better at pleasing the eye of the owner? I thiink you may be in the wrong place to be slamming XLRs. I really hope you are finished. I know I am...

I guess we will never know what you think an XLR is an example of.

I wonder why anyone would buy a Cadillac when a Yugo would do?

    My Bluetooth and Smartphone Solution

Sometimes being cheap is just that and you do get what you pay for. Then there are times like this where getting quality results are not significantly more expensive or difficult but do require knowledge in order to understand the benefits of the superior design.

    My Bluetooth and Smartphone Solution

There are different interfaces depending on if you want to maintain XM or not. I do not want XM and that is the way I went with these parts. If you are not using the service then you do not pay for it. An alternative method requiring a different interface adapter would allow you to chose XM...

    My Bluetooth and Smartphone Solution

I believe it was stated multiple times that the alternative method required "tearing out the dash" which is absolutely false and is an example of why you shouldn't believe everything written. As I have already said multiple times, if you don't mind the lower sound quality this could be...

    My Bluetooth and Smartphone Solution

Basically the ladder of improving sound quality goes something like this, starting with the worse: WX AM FM XM (Depends on how much compression at the time. I've heard some XM sound worse than FM) CD-DVD / Bluetooth / Wired USB AUX (depends on the format and bitrate used when storing the...

    My Bluetooth and Smartphone Solution

FM can only get so good, there is no probably about it. It is a matter of technical capabilities, believe what you want. Maybe because I know how to spell Bang and Olufsen I may be more in tune with quality audio, but I strongly doubt I am the only one that can notice the difference between FM...

    My Bluetooth and Smartphone Solution

Not sure how many times it needs repeated. You DO NOT need to "tear into the dash" to get full Bluetooth capabilities.

    My Bluetooth and Smartphone Solution

Maybe, but it still has the audio quality of FM radio. Decades old technology, and sounds like it. If your happy with muddled sound or can't tell the difference then it is a fit. I much prefer a higher quality sound and choose not to take the cheap and easy poor performing way out...
